Okay, summer 2012. My sister from another mister and I decided to explore the Catalan capital, Barcelona. Oh, was it worth it. It was love at first sight or should I step? 'cause as soon as I stepped out of the plane I knew I would love this place. It's the place where culture meets the sea.
First few days were all about getting to know the city, exploring every corner of it, not literally of course.

Obligatory, a trip to Park Güell (especially, after seeing Vicky Cristina Barcelona)

One of our daily things: a short trip to la Boqueria before heading to the beach. Doesn't matter whether you're craving fruits, sweets, meat, wine ... you'll find it all! :)
If you decide to visit Barcelona in summer, make sure you pack comfy shoes into your suitcase and always carry a bottle of water around you!
