St Andrews part I

St Andrews is a town on the east coast of Fife in Scotland. It's home to the University of St Andrews. 

The town is very unique, the people very welcoming and extremely helpful. The buildings of the university are spread all over the former royal burgh and each of them has a name, mine was Swallowgate, school of classics. 

There are four main streets: North Street, South Street, Market Street and The Scores. Of course there's a harbour as well. A small one but a harbour's a harbour, right?

Pittenweem

Pittenweem is a small fisher village located on the east coast of Scotland. It has approximately 1800 inhabitants and is home to many artists which leads us to the Pittenweem Arts Festival- our main reason for arriving in this pittoresque village and the harbour. (I guess you already know how much I love harbours).

next trip

I guess it's time for some travelling. As Dalai Lama says Once a year, go someplace you've never been before. I promised myself I will do that. Don't know what country/city it will be but there are a couple of months left, right? But my next trip is almost round the corner. Can you guess where I'm going to?? But before that some exams need to be done!

North Point, St. Andrews

Breakfast. I love breakfast. There is nothing better than to sleep in and have a tasteful breakfast. While I was staying in St.Andrews I simply couldn't resist not going to North Point whether to enjoy their hot chocolate, to buy a scone or eat something else ... the offer is great! 

Hamburg part III

And here's the third part of my short but amazing Hamburg trip! A very wee insight into the portugal quarter and Venusberg and my beloved harbour. There's something about harbours I totally heart. Just don't know what it is. As soon as I know I'll share it with you.

Polanica-Zdrój

In September (last year of course) my mum, sister and I sat into a car and drove to Polanica-Zdrój aka Pearl of Polish Spas. Just a few hours drive, therefore the perfect getaway place.

Oxford, England

Recently, I stumbled over some photos I took a few years ago while I was visiting Oxford and thought I share them with you. I guess Oxford is not in need of any kind of introduction. 'Cause in my opinion the name Oxford speaks for itself! I apologize up front for the size of the pics but due to the bad quality it's better this way.
