Hamburg, part I

Oh dear, oh my. The accent, the people, the city, the food, Hamburg. How to describe this city? Well, let's put it this way: you take all everything you love and discovered while travelling (a particular street, quarter, language, building ...) and put them into a box. You mix/shake it and voilà you've got Hamburg. At its finest.

Everywhere I go, I have favourites. Whether it's a quarter, area, street, lane, etc. in Hamburg I found three hearts. Baumwall, Speicherstadt and HafenCity. Lucky me, they all lead into the same direction.

Speicherstadt and HafenCity at night (actually it was around 6pm).  It's the architecture that gets my attention. Guilty, I'm a red brick lover.

This one was taken somewhere else. This is Binnenalster. It's an artificially created lake in the middle of the city. The crossing bridge devides the lake into two parts: Binnenalster and Außenalster. An amazing place to relax.

Part 2 to be followed soon!
